Great sandwich joint. My wife and I had the hot pastrami on rye and it was fantastic! Meat was full of flavor and the bread was fresh and hearty. I had the New England clam chowder which was loaded with clams. it also had corn in it which I have never had in a clam chowder but it gave it a bit of sweetness. My wife really enjoyed the potato salad as well.
We will go back and I would suggest to anyone to give it a try. It seems like a family owned joint that takes a lot of pride in its food and on pleasing the customers.
Our hats off to the gals who served us. they were friendly and patient to a couple of people who were new to their place. -

I ordered chicken noodle soup and this is what they gave me. Its red. Chicken noodle soup is not supposed to be red! There's potatoes in there and no noodles. Ummmm, problem.
I don't feel well, I have a cold or the flu or something. All I wanted was a nice comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup. Yup, not happening. Very disappointed. This was my first time trying this place and it's my last. I won't order from here again! -

FANTASTIC roast beef - really delicious. Their homemade soups are usually excellent, with one recent exception - the split pea. It lacked any taste of seasoning whatsoever. They're not stingy with their meats and other sandwich fillings, and the price is reasonable. You can get a whole sandwich and cup of soup for about $7.
